Each pallet will go a long way towards keeping the children clothed. One pallet will help clothe 10 children for a year.
|2. SCHOOL TEXT BOOKS|
$100 per student (94 needed)
Each year students across Haiti must share textbooks with classmates. Having your own textbook goes a long way to improving the success rate of our students.
|3. CHRISTMAS MEAL|
Provide a special Christmas meal that will include a variety of meats and a rare sweet treat of sodas. This is such a special meal for the children that they always look forward to receiving.
|4. PROPANE TANK|
Fuel for cooking meals at the village.
|5. CHURCH SHOES|
Provide dress shoes for a special little boy or girl to wear to church.
|6. EYE GLASSES|
Several of our students are in need of correctivelenses Help bring the chalk board into focus.
|7. SOLAR BATTERIES|
Solar batteries allow us to store energy during the day so that we can provide electricity at night.
A cow can provide many resources - milk, manure that can be used for fertilizer, offspring for income and meat for the entire children's village.
|9. SCHOOL SUPPLIES|
Notebook, pencils, pens, etc.
|10. CLEAN WATER|
Lifestraw Community is a high capacity, long lasting water purifier. It protects against viruses, bacteria, parasites, dirt, sand, etc. It can serve 100 people for3-5 years!
|11. ADD MEAT TO A MEAL|
Add chicken to an extra meal for all of the children at the children's village.
Chicks will provide nutrition to the children and provides a job for the older children as they transition out of the orphanage.
A motorcycle will allow a boy transitioning out of the orphanage to provide taxi services. This will provide an income for them allowing them to support themselves.
Goats provide a great source of milk, meat, and source of income by selling offspring. They also provide a job for a boy transitioning out of the orphanage.
|15. TRADE SCHOOL TUITION|
Attending trade school will allow one of our transition boys or girls to gain a skill for their future. (Tile work, electrician, general construction, etc.)
